The top of the silicone mold is less insulated and more directly exposed to the cold air in your freezer than the sides of the mold. As a result, the water starts freezing from the top and progresses downward, pushing any air and impurities in the water downward as well. The silicone molds have channels that allow the impure water to leave the molds entirely and enter a lower compartment. When the impure water freezes in this lower compartment, it turns cloudy. But the pure water within the silicone molds freezes crystal clear!

Personalization is our bread and butter, and we've married the tried and true directional freezing method for producing clear ice cubes and spheres at home with our proprietary techniques for introducing bespoke personalization into soft, food grade silicone. The combination is completely unique to Siligrams and not available anywhere else!

This is the only customizable product in our extensive lineup that is imported from China and then personalized on demand in the United States. We are working on bringing the entire production process for this product into the United States - stay tuned!

All our products are free of harmful chemicals such as BPA, BPS, phthalates, and lead.

Please wash the food grade silicone molds and the insulating box with warm soapy water before use, and discard the first set of ice cubes you make using your mold.

The silicone molds are top rack dishwasher safe. The insulating box must be hand washed only.

If you order a product using a custom graphic or logo, our art team will send you a proof for review within 2 business days. Depending on the complexity of your artwork, they may need to make some adjustments.

Simple designs work best. For brand owners, we recommend submitting the version of your logo used as your social media profile image or favicon. For non-logo graphics, avoid anything more detailed than an emoji. For more specifics, please see our design guidelines.

If you don’t receive your proof within a week of ordering, please check your spam folder. Any time spent waiting for your approval will extend your delivery timeline.

If we don’t hear from you within 2 weeks of sending the initial proof, we will proceed with the initial proof. However, if your artwork requires major changes or is not usable as submitted, we will pause your order and wait for further direction.

Orders customized with monograms or pre-made graphics will move into production immediately without a proof.

For monogram designs, please type the initials from left to right in the exact order you want them to appear.

In the round monogram style, some letters may look strange in order to conform to a circular profile. You can preview all characters in this alphabet here.

For an individual’s monogram, it is traditional to arrange the initials from left to right as first name, last name, middle name. So for Sarah Jessica Parker, you would type SPJ. For a couple’s monogram, it is traditional to arrange the initials from left to right as one person’s first name, the shared last name, and the other person’s first name. So for Victoria and David Beckham, you would order VBD.

We begin production within 12 hours after you place your order. Once we begin production, we are typically unable to change your design. If you made a mistake, please email us immediately and we will do our best to accommodate.

Estimated delivery dates are provided at checkout and are updated periodically based on our current production capacity.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee orders will arrive by a certain date due to unforeseen shipping delays which lie outside our control.

The Clear Ice Maker does all the hard work of making crystal clear ice for you, but there are still some important serving steps for optimal presentation.

Temper the ice: Before putting the ice in your drink, place it on a dinner plate at room temperature for a few minutes to allow it to warm up slighty. This prevents the ice from cracking as soon as it hits the liquor.

Stabilize the sphere: to prevent ice spheres from rolling over, gently press the side of the sphere opposite the design against a metal surface for a few seconds. This will quickly create a flat base for the sphere that will help the design stay upright. If you ordered ice cubes, disregard this step.

Allow frost to form: As the ice warms up outside of the freezer, moisture in the air will condense on the surface of the ice, creating a nice frost that makes the appearance of your design much sharper. That's the secret to our photos!

Keep it dry: here's our spin on the old adage - ice before liquor, design fades quicker. Liquor before ice, stays looking nice. In other words, carefully add your tempered, frosty ice to your drink last to keep the design dry. If you pour room temperature liquor over your design, it will quickly vanish, and you'll be quite disappointed!

Please note: when you receive your mold, you will notice that your design will look backwards or mirrored in the silicone compared to what you specified. This allows the design to appear correctly on the ice cubes.
